Life is more than just a coincidence. Maybe that sentence is the most appropriate expression for this project. Yes, from their first meeting, the process was more than just a coincidence. Starting from Audiolab Community, a community of people and institutions who have worked with recording company, Audiolab, owned by Pimpy "Mr. Pee" Pangestoe, they were met by Mr. Pee, although at that time they were having their own projects in Audiolab. Aldyna (vocals) was finishing up her solo album, Pandu (guitar), Tego (guitar), and Jamesky (bass) were working on their band album, and Veqa (drums), are also studying about recording stuffs at Audiolab.

Looking at these potentials, Mr. Pee took initiative to unite them in a regular workshop. The workshop aimed to explore their potential while lowering their ego as a musician. Also to prepare Aldyna solo album promo tour in Malaysia. Having a long practice, not just preparing for the tour, on the sidelines of the preparation they also created several songs to blaze a new project. Then, in November 2009, the project was officially established and are committed to train hard, discipline, and professional in realizing project, which was named Aldyna feat Joy n 'the Rhythm System. Even so, they continue to show their professionalism to support the project and the Aldyna digital solo album.

The differences of their musicality that owned by each personnel, provides unique characteristics for the Joy n 'the Rhythm System music. However, they have one common purpose, to prove their music and inspire them who listen to their music.
